The
Delray Beach Institute made history recently by sponsoring "Mingle
With the Mayors".
The evening, co-presented by the Delray Beach Historical Society,
featured six mayors representing four decades of Delray Beach history
and leadership.
The event was educational, humorous and insightful as the mayors
shared their unique views and experiences with a large crowd at Old
School Square.
Members of Delray Beach's Residents Academy, newcomers and long time
Delray Beach residents alike learned about the unique challenges
of local leadership gaining a new appreciation for the challenges
and opportunities facing local leaders.
